I want to completely disable all this security

What I want to completely disable all this security as I only use trusted applications and am not connected to the internet. This added security is absolutely useless to me, and quite annoying. I want to be able to run things like I did in XP, no hassles, just double click it and off you go. I disabled the UAC (or put in on always silent), do I need to do something else to run everything, all the time as admin just by clicking it (no right click, run as admin)?

Run as administrator privileged account instead of standard user account.

Control panel | user accounts | change your account type

Less secure this way. Basically everyone runs this way though.

No internet, so where are you getting updates from? Keep the security, XP is rubbish and that's one of the reasons.

takeown /f command or search tutorials for how to add functionality to right click menu in Windows Explorer

ok, so I took ownership of my entire c drive using takeown /f C:\ will that work?

Im sorry guys, but am I missing something here? Does this this new security replace security features in XP or add on top of them? In other words, if I disable UAC and get everything to run as admin am I losing any security relative to the security within XP? If not then I dont see the big deal in disabling it, I never got any viruses on XP so if I have the same habits and the same security I should be fine on 7 as well, correct?

I'm an admin with UAC on "never notify."

What do you mean by programs writing to program files? Are you talking about the directory, "Program Files"?

After I turned off UAC, I haven't received any interruptions from it. For those who "care about their security," disabling UAC isn't a big deal if you know what you're doing.
