Need help removing Wsearch - Windows Search, Malware

it did seem to find a fair bita stuff alright thanks, got rid of them, nice lil tools, least I know I can trust them

but the Wsearch one is still running and something is still hoggin the RAM. PC still running harder than it should be :/

might try malware again maybe? it found nothing the first time tho, :/

Malwarebytes? I'd recommend running a full scan overnight, can take up to 4 hours depending on hard drive size and processor speed etc, il look into the Wsearch thing for you, wont be long.

ill run it again, took 2 hours last time. prob wont find it but will do no harm thanks!

1.Search for your browser shortcut (Desktop, Taskbar or Start Menu Shortcut), then right click on it and select Properties.

2. In the Shortcut tab, in the Target field, remove the wsearch.com argument. Basically, there should be only the path to browser executable file. Nothing more.

Should look like this

checked all 3 browsers properties. all have the correct path in the target fiels and no sign on wsearch in it. I was able to stop wsearch in services but its now running again after a restart.

ie tho, in the start in field it has %HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%

the other two seem to have correct path in the start in field.

ie did prompt to say that something had changed my homepage and that it was set back to bing.

they all look fine now from there, there is no sign of it, its only in services, in the task manager. :/
