Splashtop in Adwcleaner list ?

Hey guys,
My question is, is it safe to remove it or not?

I don't think it would hurt anything to remove it. It looks like a remote desktop program like team viewer.

I don't think it is a virus however it does pose a small security risk as does any desktop viewer. I would go ahead and remove it.

I would see it as perhaps a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program)

Splashtop is a PITA. You can't even disable the add-on in IE. But you can also remove it with Revo.

This kind of problem does not sound like an Adware problem. It sounds more like a virus.

The scanners you can download on anothe PC and put them on a flash drive. Then run them from there.

Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
  • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
  • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista, 7, or 8; instead of double-clicking, right-mouse click JRT.exe and select "Run as Administrator".
  • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
  • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
  • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
  • Post the contents of JRT.txt into your next message.
As WHS said, put the file onto a flashdrive or other storage device, transfer to the suspected infected computer and follow the instructions above.

Aaaa. Yesterday, I used Eset Online Scanner and it works like a charm. No more pop-ups or annoying ads but my adblock still doesn't work like it was suppose to be. Do I still need to use Junkware Removal Tool?

P.S Sorry for troubling you guys or if I didn't follow the steps from you guys...
