displaying Error 0x800004002 no such interface supported

trying to recover from virus attack that locked me out of main files.
cleared the virus (hopefully) but cannot create any new users .
looked in environment variables and found 2 cookies from smile box which I cannot delete.
thus the error.
Error 0x800004002 no such interface supported
Cookieeter2@smilebox

have no idea if these are the problem but suspect as in apptdata/roaming/smilebox.

Hi Peter, Welcome to Seven forums.

Are you getting this error with IE? If yes, go to run and type CMD (open as Admin) then type
regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\actxprxy.dll
