Get an access denied when "net stop spooler" command is used

I am building a batch file to empty the spooler on a friends computer, W7 Ultimate 32 bit. Part of the batch file is to stop and restart the spooler. The subject command returns an error. How can I give permission to start/stop the spooler?

Just taking a guess, but, perhaps the "Access Denied" message has something to do with the UAC.

You can try to adjust or disable the UAC:

I disabled the UAC. Still got the error so I put it back to where it was. Thanks anyway, worth a try.
Still looking.
