I have been using Bitdefender for around 18 months and it is the best av software that I have used thus far. I like it because it does not hog resources like Norton's, McAfee and others do. I also like it because you can actually communicate with their tech team should you need help.

The only problem I have encountered is that it does not like running with the paid version of Malwarebytes (it causes one or other to hang). This is no problem, I just run the free version of Malwarebytes instead. In the 18 months I have had just 2 false positives which are known to the programmers.

Bitdefender does it's job without fuss or fanfare and only notifies you should it encounter software or web pages it doesn't like.

    9/10 for me.
