Download these two programs ... you won't need Spybot s&d. Your Hosts file will be protected with these apps.
    SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard:

Spyware Guard is a real-time malware scanner
    SpywareBlaster tutorial:

    SpywareGuard tutorial:

You can also use Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware for free. Just be sure to update it before scanning.

    Not a problem

You do not have 007guard.com on your system
    here is what is happening

SPYbot S&D has a glitch, it blocks 007guard.com
it does this by putting in your host file the entry
    127.0.0.1 www.007guard.com

as this is the first entry in the host file it reports all connections to 127.0.0.1 (localhost) as going to www.007guard.com

    edit the hostfile and add

    127.0.0.1 000-localhost.com

    at the very top....

When hosts file is unchanged the first, and only, line is

    127.0.0.1 localhost

so you can add it at the beginning of a long list of entries from SpyBot and voila, problem solved. You can change it to 000-localhost.com as well but it's better to change the entry to the original one.

Anyway, thanks for that - I needed it.
