Does anyone know for sure how long 1.75 will continue to be supported (receive updates)?
    This was replied here,
An MBAM Staff person says probably a year or less for V1 support:

    Latest Version of Malwarebytes
Look forward to an update if any,

    MBAM v2.0.2.1007

    Hi,

Downloaded v2.0.2.1007 a couple of days ago. Ran clean up tool - rebooted then installed the latest version and ran it today changing nothing from the default settings.

I have similar problems - the same as in the previous version.

This time the scan didn't complete. BSOD 10 minutes into the (very slow) scan. Same error message (screenshot shown)

Will remove this version and reinstall v1.75 until a stable release is available.

Have been forced to seek an alternative and so far EEK looks good and works perfectly.

I didn't use the clean up tool but installed v2.0.2.1004 over 1.75 the installed v2.0.2.1007 over that.

You might have a RAM issue.

Thanks for the info. I had the same issue once before when using Avast but after switching to another AV - there were no more BSOD's. It seems to be the same with MBAM. It's only the latest beta releases that cause problems!

Those of you who have an extremely long scan time .... do you clean out all temps before running the scan? See if it helps to speed things up.

If you've never used TFC by OldTimer, download it (this is a great tool to keep) TFC - Temp File Cleaner by OldTimer - Geeks to Go Forum and save it to your desktop.
Save any unsaved work. TFC will close ALL open programs including your browser!
Double-click on TFC.exe to run it. If you are using Vista/Windows 7 right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator.
Click the Start button to begin the cleaning process and let it run uninterrupted to completion.
Important! If TFC prompts you to reboot, please do so immediately. If not prompted, manually reboot the machine anyway to ensure a complete clean.

    Mbam bsod

Okay so here's some more info related to my earlier post:

MalwareBytes 2.0.1 taking forever to scan

Minidump says that elrawdsk.sys driver is the cause. I've uninstalled the driver and will reinstall MBAM and give it another try!

I have version 1004 of the new Mbam and I went to the Mbam website and the page that shows doesn't tell you what the latest updated version is .

I have also noticed on a few help sites that after you download what you think is the latest version it's not .
