1.) You have done the guide completely as stated in step 1 and followed all directions and still having the issue?

2.) What do you mean by it has gotten worse? Can you take a screenshot showing so?

3.) You made sure to delete and clean everything found and restarted the pc after each scan like instructed in the guide?

I am still waiting on response to this question:

3.) Do you have any anti-virus/anti-malware software installed?
If you want help, you will need to answer all my questions, and follow all steps I have given.
Otherwise it will be impossible to help you.

all i can do now is explain why i think it as gone worse. as i am reading your post,(after downloading all these

I never meant to be rude. But when I ask you several questions and you do not answer them, how am I supposed to help you?

If you do not know, say so. Everyone has different knowledge in different areas. No one can ever be an expert in all things. But saying nothing does not help me as it looks like you are avoiding the questions.

I did not threaten you. I asked you to respond to the questions asked. That is all. There are many people from diffrent countries on these forums. Some people see things as rude where others do not. I apologize if it was taken wrong or out of context. It was not my intention.

Now on to the issue at hand:

1.) You said you did steps 1-4. That is great. And you followed all steps and removed everything found correct?

2.) Might I suggest you do step 5 to remove the annoying question in internet explorer that was in this guide:

Remove "This content requires Media Player 12.2 Update" virus (Removal Guide)

    longshanks said:
i do not see the emblem you ask me to click on twice .other than that i think i have done everything else correct.
3.) Can you expand what you mean here? Can you show a screenshot or explain further on this point?

4.) As for the continuing issues in internet explorer, I want to try an internet explorer reset.

    Warning
Doing the following will reset internet explorer, and will lose all saved passwords and settings

    Tutorial for visual walkthrough:

    Internet Explorer - Reset

    Worded steps:

Open Control panel. - Network and internet. - internet options - advanced - Reset - Check the box to delete personal settings - Click reset. Click ok. Restart the PC.

Open internet explorer. How does it act now?

5.) Your logs indicate you have avg antivirus installed,
    Code:
    Yes	HKLM:Run	AVG_UI	AVG Technologies CZ, s.r.o.	"C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\AVG2014\avgui.exe" /TRAYONLY
not Microsoft security essentials. Please look in programs and features under control panel and uninstall ether avg or Microsoft security essentials. Having 2 antiviruses is not good. They cause conflicts.

If you do not see avg listed in installed programs, we can try the avg uninstaller tool.

This program might be the cause of internet explorer issues:
    Code:
Yes	HKCU:Run	IE New Window Maximizer	jiiSoft	C:\Program Files (x86)\IE New Window Maximizer\iemaximizer.exe
Look for iemaximizer in your programs and features uninstall a program section found in control panel and uninstall it if you discover it.

While in uninstall a program found in control panel, remove anything related to PC Cleaners.

6.) In herd protect log, the following items need to be removed. Rerun the scan with herdprotect, and remove the following items from the list. Click the items if present, then click action-remove.

    -activerisantimalware.exe
    -netfilter64.sys
    -taphss.sys
    -fifth.exe
    -1115574_stp.exe
    -irsodll.dll

Hello again Andrew thanks for not giving up on me. let me first apologize for my comments they where uncalled for you have been very patient with me thanks. anyway to get on with the task.
first JRT i downloaded it from your link.click download a box comes up asking me if i want to save file i click yes.an arrow comes up at top of page i click on that and start the download (no emblem) a black box comes up says' click any key.
when it is finished .a box comes up saying you have no problems.your PC is clean and it adds a log..see screen shot. thats it .

when it starts a page comes up with a list of things on but it flashes for a second then goes' to download

1.) Ok. Jrt did not find anything. That is good news. So ignore jrt now.

2.) You ran the scan with herdprotect and now it found nothing?

Interesting. It usually will find something, but usually False positives.

3.) I noticed you said you downloaded from cnet though. You should only use the links I provide. I am not yelling at you, just letting you know. :)

4.) Download herdprotect from here, and then scan again. Choose the portable download. Run a scan again. If it results to being the same as your screenshot when it found nothing now, that is good news.

5.) Question: Did you remove anything when you ran the herdprotect from last time?

6.) I don't know what you mean about internet explorer 8, that has nothing to do with what I asked. You followed step 4 exactly? Please try again. Nothing involves opening internet explorer there.

7.) Also, it seems like you might be rushing when reading my posts. Please take your time reading them. Nothing your doing here should be rushed. Do not try to follow the directions when you have an appointment or something you need to rush to. Do this when in a relaxed state. Slowly reread all the steps again.

8.) I will be waiting for a full confirmation that each step was followed.

    9.) May I make a suggestion?

Answer me in number format. So start out with step 1, and put 1 and and answer 1.

Then follow each number in your reply. This way your words are not all jumbled.

So pace out your replies with numbers. It should help you follow the steps better.

1.) Ok, in the herd protect results,

    Remove the following:

    -uninst.exe pc cleaners inc.

2.) How often do you use utorrent?

Torrents are a great way to get infected. Average users need to especially stay away from them. The torrent programs themselves are typically safe, but it is what you download from them that you need to be careful with. If you want to follow my advice, I suggest uninstalling it.

Use control panel-uninstall a program to remove utorrent.

3.) You are starting to look clean! YAY! Lets see if anything else is going on here though:

Let see what else is going on here:

1.) Download malwarebytes anti malware found here:

    https://www.malwarebytes.org/

    Choose the Free version download.

2.) After it downloads, run the installation and install it.

    3.) After install, open malwarebytes.

    Choose to update now.

When your updated, you should see something like this in the screenshot:

4.) Then choose to run a scan after updates complete.

    5.)
After the scan completes, Remove anything found. Restart the computer.

6.) Open malwarebytes. Click the history button.

    Then Click on application logs.

Choose the latest scan log, and click the view button.

Click on the export button, then choose text file. Save it somewhere.

7.) Post your results by using the paperclip and upload the log.
