Yes, right. Malware bytes https://www.malwarebytes.org/ is good. You can try AVG http://free.avg.com and Immunet Protect Immunet: Free Antivirus Software Download and Endpoint Security as well.

i have defender on but still getting a msg in action center that i need to find an antivirus program. isn't defender my antivirus? how do i get the defender icon to show up as a notification?
