Windows 7: malawarebytes antimalware will not start up

Windows 7 64 bit
 
 

On my home network there is one desktop described above; also I have a Windows 8 laptop and a Windows XP laptop. The 8 laptop is not set up in compatibility mode; do not know about XP laptop.
