Vipre WILL NOT UPDATE OR FUNCTION - SOLVED

Just decided to try out Vipre for the 30 days since my fresh reformat of Win7 and no matter what, it will not update, hence function or turn on protection. It just sits at the update window doing nothing.

I thought this program was the be all and end all?

Had not heard of Vipre, so had to Google it to fine out more. Other then the normal BS stuff put out by Vipre itself was not able to fine anything about the application. Was it worth using prior to attempting to load it up on to Win 7. Been using MSE since it's release and nothing else. Always interested in something new. :)

my interest in something new was why I installed it. I was using ESET before my reformat but heard a lot of good stuff about Vipre in another thread where everyone was comparing good and light antivirus software.

If I can't figure this out in the next few minutes I am going to ditch it and try out MSE.

Hi, are you running any other Av alongwith Vipre?
If Vipre is not able to update itself. you can manually download and install updates.
1: Click here to download the latest updates.
2: Once the download is complete, open vipre and click on the Edit Settings button under Updates.

3: Now click the Browse button and locate the definition which you downloaded and that's it. It will update in no time.

No I know better than to run 2 AV's at once but thanks for the reply. Seems to maybe have been a server issue as I woke up this morning to find it updated so all is well now, I can stop panicking!
