I can't blame you the responses from mbam are predictable,
Use clean.exe.....

I was always happy just for mbam to update on startup with the notification and that's it/ No hourly/ No realtime...
Such a simple task,
Which by the way still works perfectly in 1.75...
Probably all the silly intergraded adds messing up the updater,

Disabling Malicious website protection only reactivates automatically,
