should i disable windows 7 firewall when installing kespersky anti-virus? thanks

Let kaspersky handle it for you. I do not recommend turning it off unless kapersky turns it off.

One thing to note if you use ICS (internet connection sharing) it won't work correctly and sometimes not at all with Windows firewall turned off...

Hello Soulfood,

I agree with the previous responses.

You shouldn't turn off Windows Firewall unless you really need to - I run Avast! Anti-Virus and I still have Windows Firewall running. If your anti-virus needs to disable it, it will automatically, don't manually disable it.
