Good! Now download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
  • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
  • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista, 7, or 8; instead of double-clicking, right-mouse click JRT.exe and select "Run as Administrator".
  • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
  • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
  • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
  • Post the contents of JRT.txt into your next message.

Next flush the DNS cache.>>> Right click on Command Prompt and choose to run as Administrator.
Copy and paste ipconfig /flushdns then press 'enter' key. Reboot

Good ... now download TFC by Old Timer TFC - Temp File Cleaner by OldTimer - Geeks to Go Forum and save it to your desktop.
Save any unsaved work. TFC will close ALL open programs including your browser!
Double-click on TFC.exe to run it. If you are using Vista/Windows 7 right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator.
Click the Start button to begin the cleaning process and let it run uninterrupted to completion.

Important! If TFC prompts you to reboot, please do so immediately. If not prompted, {manually reboot the machine anyway to ensure a complete clean}.

Keep TFC! This is a great little app.

Tell me if you're having any problems.

I didn't see any key loggers. If you do any banking or use a credit card on line, to be on the safe side, change your passwords using a different computer.

Uninstall Adwcleaner:
Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool again. Click on the Uninstall button.
Click Yes when asked are you sure you want to uninstall.
Both AdwCleaner.exe, its folder and all logs will be removed.

Thanks for everything. If I wasn't (still) having other Windows issues, I would have never gone as far as I did by installing that program. Now, on to trying to solve as to why I have to take ownership of the profiles folder everytime I add another wireless connection.
