la.flvmplayer.exe Malware - How To remove?

This nuisance la.flvmplayer.exe (trojan?) arrived on my computer piggy backing on a legitimate d/load (a video I believe).
It causes the browser to open several windows with ads and promotions.

I can't find the file as no doubt it has disguised itself. Running a full scan with Lavasoft Adaware but meantime wondered if anyone had found where this nasty malware hides out, or what name it uses?

And better still do you know a way to delete it?

Hi Harrie, yep, that's the beast all right! Last night ran a full scan with Adaware from Lavasoft and it seems to have picked it up and deleted as I have not seen evidence when opening the browser this morning.
But good to now all its details!

well it has returned so clearly my respite was brief. Tried to d/load the spyhunter from the page but it doesn't seem to want to (the installed d/loaded but stopped there) so I'll try another.

Sorry to hear your having a problem with malware.

I can confirm this is malware and you need to get it removed off your computer as soon as possible.

After running the scan with Malwarebytes (as-well as the other items listed on that page) please export the scan log to your desktop and upload it here and make sure to remove the items which it picks-up.

Thank you Vinny Buxton ... yes, after not succeeding with Adaware I did use malwarebytes and it did the job. System is now clear. Can't put the results of scan up now as they are now history.
