Blue screen of death virus

Started out that I could access programs temporarily before the computer would freeze and blue screen of death would appear. Now as soon as I try accessing any file folder the blue screen appears. I've run cmd prompt in safe mode to scan for viruses and have deleted a few thinking I have successfully corrected the issue, but to no avail. Don't know what to do! I would scrub the computer back to factory default but there are files I want to send to external hard drive. System restore is not an option because it is setup to return to winzip. Do I need professional help?! I've been scanning program files to del viruses I find but not sure what else to check or do.

Have you tried booting into Safe Mode? Safe mode is sometimes more stable than normal and gives you some time to pinpoint the problems.

Safe Mode

To know what might be causing the BSOD, we need the dump files.

Use the SF Diagnostic tool and post the files.
Here is the link to download it and how to use it.

SF Diagnostic Tool - Using for Troubleshooting

I recommend that you download the SF Diagnostic tool on an another computer and put it on a USB drive. Then, insert the USB drive into the problem computer booted into safe mode. Post back the files with your next post.
