    Possible redirection virus?

Hello. Not sure if this is the right forum area to ask for help about this problem.

Firefox has been giving me some problems for almost two months.
Sometimes when I'm browsing a link sends me to a Yahoo or Google error page, the page won't load for several seconds or couple minutes. I didn't know about Ctrl+F5, it helps sometimes when F5 is not enough.

At times the pages load with no formatting, or icons/images won't load.
I remember the very first days with the problem I could read "traffic outbrain" or something like that at the bottom of the page when it was loading. Couple times it sent me to that site, then I blocked the domain in a Windows text file with sites information (sorry I don't remember the name of the file but I'll look for it, I hope it worked).

It looks like only one site is affected by the problem at a time. For example, if I'm using Google and the pages won't load, no matter how many new Google tabs or windows I open no one will work. But other sites are working with no problems.

It affects the Steam client as well, the main screen loads with no formatting, all the hyperlink images don't load, etc.

Today I left the browser in the Yahoo error page while I googled again trying to find what's going on, suddenly the error page sent me to a yahoo editor.

I've tried with several antivirus, anti-malware, and tools to fix the problem but nothing works. They detect some threats but the problem is still there. I wonder if my router is infected because my tablet is slow from time to time while browsing.

I'm attaching couple images. One of the Yahoo logo page (the error page is not appearing, maybe it knows I'm hunting it). And one of the editor page.

    Thanks in advance.

Please read this entirely before we begin malware removal:

Before we start with malware assistance, I want to inform you of a few things:

1.) I am not a recognized malware removal expert. I do not have a certification from a malware removal school. Having said that, I have removed a lot of malware with PCs and have years of experience.
But just like no antivirus program is 100% effective, neither am I. My goal is to simply clean up your PC from any malware, and assist you in any way possible to help you secure your PC.

2.) Sevenforums (This forum)and I will NOT be held responsible for anything that might go wrong with your pc.

3.) You agree to follow all directions given, until I advise that your pc is clean and you are free of threats. You will not abandon the thread.

The most important rule of all:

4.) YOU WILL NOT INSTALL/change/modify OR ADD ANYTHING TO YOUR SYSTEM UNTIL MALWARE REMOVAL IS COMPLETE. No files or programs or anything of the sort.

Do you agree to these terms?

If yes, reply with a Yes. If not, please state so and I will flag an official malware remover, or I will recommend another place for malware removal assistance.
