Another telephone scam to be aware of!

I received two phone calls today with a woman's voice telling me that "Your computer is causing problems" ... "please press #1 for Microsoft Technical Advice".

MS will not call anyone, unless you call them first for help.

    Scam!

    Scam!
I've had 4-5 of these calls over the past 2 years.
A mans voice with a heavy accent.
It's actually hard to believe that people actually fall for this.
How the heck would anyone know that people...give your head a shake.
    I'm having problems right now.
Maybe they could give me a call and fix it my problem. lol

You would be surprised at how many people actually do fall this sort of scam.

    It is quite sad really,

the people who have common sense to know not to give there credit card number or ss number to a random person, is the same person that buys the "your pc is infected" story over the phone.

Does not make sense to me. But unfortunately it happens.

There is always someone out there, and always will be.
