Interesting site

I just came across this very interesting site which I expect the boffins will already know about but for the newbrainers like me some interesting reading I quite liked the rootkit listings.

Had a look at that Site John ... I found it of interest also many thanks for Posting ..

Its is a tad disappointing though in some respects .. Do not think they have an active Forum any more ..

As you say it is old and could do with some Updating ...

Anti Rootkit listing

Thanks for posting the info. Personally I've never seen a rootkit scanner that didn't give false positive detections other than Trend Micro's Rootkit Buster which worked well!

Yep Maxie it is an old site and I think it did mention somewhere it had been taken over by Microsoft or rather the staff had.
Callender yep I don't go searching for rootkits in general I find the TDSS Killer is the one I would use the one you mention I haven't but might if need be. Mind you my dealings with them is to refer others to this stuff.
Don't know if you have seen this Best Free Rootkit Scanner and Remover I have on occasion used that DrWebcurit but it takes some working out as does that GMER stuff.
