Windows trash is acting strangely at startup..

Hello, i often notice when i boot my main pc that the trash is acting up "preparing to delete files"; i can make sure it's not ccleaner : i did a scan right after that and there were many thing to clean.

I looked over msconfig, startup folder.. But i see nothing wrong/suspicious. I have antivir, i don't think that's it. I also have Eraser, but no reason i'd do that...

We need system specs filled in completely including your security programs.

This tutorial by Brink should be helpful.

System Info - See Your System Specs

Also in your next post could you list all the Cleanup, Tuneup, Speedup programs you use.

Hello, thanks for the quick reply. I don't mind giving my system specs (actually it's the less personal information you can be asked on a computer related board..) BUT i'd expected you to ask hijackthis report; what do the system specs have to do with such software issue? Nothing, i'm certain.

HijackThis! is outdated ... especially for Windows 7 64bit. It cannot report the problem you're asking for help with.

Unko you ask for help and then you won't help us help you.

Then you give some goof post about a security program to one of the best security experts out there in the computer world.

Are you sure you are posting on the right forum?

The specs are useful for a lot of reasons, for example apps that may conflict, apps that do more harm than good etc. What one user think is a good setup another user might see problems with.

Are you talking about the Recycle bin? Here's an old issue about a corrupt Recycle bin that might help:

First of all, system specs are useful, it lets us know what you have, I find it hard to believe that you've posted 181 posts and no one has asked you before for system specs, secondly, it relates to your issue greatly, it would allow us to see which version of windows you are running.

If you were running windows 7 ultimate, that comes with bit-locker encryption which maybe interfering with start-up, it would tell us your antivirus and what that could be doing to your system(we've dealt with antivirus that are problematic), your motherboard manufacturer might have released a BIOS update which fixes your issue (which is software, but we don't know your hardware to determine that), so there are many advantages to updating your system specs in the link provided, one would be that instead of asking you for them, we can just click on your system specs and this whole issue could have been avoided.
