I know I posted a thread but just wanted to add that I am running windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and AMD 6 core with 12 gigs of ram and I do everything on this so I put 2014 Norton Internet Security and Malware Bytes and I run the Microsoft malware software tool once in awhile and I use trustee rapport. I only download a bit not a lot mostly steam games and I do my banking and shopping my browsers are EI and Chrome and I make sure all updates are done on everything from windows to norton. I notice with Chrome theres a tab for that hides you but I think I'm safe

I'm probably paranoid but I'd be very wary if doing shopping and banking on my PC.

For regular use (browsing, games, etc..) then a normal Windows 7/8 setup is fine. But if you mess up with your credit card/banking accounts online, then I'd recommend you to check ways to better secure your PC.

One of the safest solutions is to install a small Linux distro that can be run from a bootable CD/DVD or a read-only USB (that way whatever happens, the Linux OS on disk won't be affected). You can then boot from it and browse to any site you want much more safely. Once done, you can boot back to your regular Windows setup.

Thanks guys sorry I thought with Norton but anyways I decided to stick with the free MSE and trusteer Rapport malwarebytes Super Antispyware and always keeping my system updated besides isn't the bank 128 bit encrypted
