Grime Removal??

I do scan on our computers almost every day with Avast! It has detected Grime on my sisters' Win 7 Laptop. I'm not sure about mine yet. Since, I don't have the premium version of Avast!, it will not remove the grime. Anyone know how to remove it?

I did a full scan, and avast! removed whatever had theirs' messed up. So, maybe its okay. Intel is a better processor any ways. AMD is not. AMD is more gaming, as most people say. Mine has an AMD processor.

Well, I'm putting Panda back on the Win 7 laptops. Avast! can stay on the 8.1 desktop, since Panda doesn't work as smoothly on it.

IHS Removal
Has anyone had experience or have done this? I did this a month ago while waiting for my video card to arrive. It appears to be in perfect condition but my system appears not to POST. I tried another CPU of the same type that also had the IHS removed (and was tested working on another system) but...

Selective removal of SP1?
I finally got around to installing SP1 on my machine - and immediately discovered that it conflicted with vmware, which I use to access my work computer. I assume that an SP is just basically a collection of all previous Windows updates, rolled into one, and I know of two updates from February...

Hello I'm new to this site, so I'm sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section... I was recently visiting a Russian/Cyrillic or something of that sort version of Wikipedia. It downloaded a font called KurKlim and it made the website's characters/words look choppy. Before, they were smoother but...
