    Thanks for helping, meka129!

    @ladielyrix,

    On the Desktop, double-click zoek.exe to start the program. (Give it a few seconds to appear.)

    If your AntiVirus warns you about the program, either allow Zoek to run, or temporarily disable your AV program.
    Info > How To Temporarily Disable Your Anti-virus, Firewall And Anti-malware Programs - Security Mini-Guides

    Next, copy/paste the entire script inside the code box below to the input field of Zoek:

    Code:
    createsrpoint;
    BuynSave;u
    autoclean;
    emptyalltemp;
    ipconfig /flushdns;b
    Now...
    Close any open Browsers.

    Click the Run script button, and wait. It takes a few minutes to run all the script.

    When the tool finishes, the zoek-results.log is opened in Notepad.
    The log is also found on the systemdrive, normally C:\
    If a reboot is needed log is opened after the reboot.

    Please attach the zoek-results.log in your reply.

    Also, please post on how the computer is behaving after running the above script.

    Thanks!

    LadieLyrix Zoek Code Response

    No problem. The code seemed to have worked but now she is not able to get on any browsers. She is getting an error message that says, 'Unable to connect to the proxy server' on Google Chrome. Not sure what happened. I hope you can help with this.

    Try the following:
    1. Right click on Google Chrome and select: Run As Administrator
    2. Click Menu on the upper right side. (has 3 small horizontal lines)
    3. Click on: Settings > Show Advanced Settings > Network > Change proxy settings
    4. On the Connections tab, click: LAN settings
    5. Uncheck: Use a proxy server for your LAN
    6. Check: Automatically detect settings
    7. Click: OK

    Please provide an update.

    Good job!!

    Let's remove the tool used...

    Please use: Delfix
    Download > Downloads - DelFix - ToolsLib
    Save to the Desktop
    Right click the Delfix icon and select: Run as Administrator

    At the main screen, ensure the following are ticked:
    Remove disinfection tools
    Create registry backup
    Purge system restore

    Click: Run

    The program runs for a few moments and Notepad opens with a report.

    To make sure all went well, please provide the DelFix report in your reply.
