MSE Update/ Ongoing Beta Program thru MS Connect

There is a new Program Update for MSE 1.0 which changes Beta # from 1676 to 1743.

I have no idea if it is a Final or Beta since MSE's website still installs 1611 while Connect still displays 1676.

My Vista machine urgently notified of the Update while XP didn't and ran into several roadblocks while I made it work in the end.

    Here's what you should have.
MSE was out of Beta stage a while back.

No, There is a Ongoing Beta testing going on in Connect you need to be invited, and as I was one of the original 5,000 or so Beta testers for MSE, I was chosen. Other members on here have 1676 but I got the new 1743 update last night.

*The Connect page displaying the download links is old now, I updated from 1676 to 1743.

Sorry, I made a post about 1676 awhile back but it was moved around by the Admins. While another person's post about same topic stayed in place... But since that thread is gone, I brought this one up.

There's already a program for Servers called Microsoft Forefront Security. MSE is based off Forefront.
