csrss.exe

I have been experiencing unusual lag which never happened to me before when I used a Unity application and while watching a Youtube video so I opened Task Manager to check what was causing this. I saw a process which was at at around 116000K usage when I was using a Unity application. Then I closed my browser and it went down to 9100K and didn't move at all. I found this suspicious and I googled it to search if it is a virus process or not and I ended up in this forum. I searched a different thread who had the exact problem and I saw a recommendation to type dir /s csrss.exe in cmd and this was the result:
Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7600]
Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\Users\******>dir /s csrss.exe
Volume in drive C has no label.
Volume Serial Number is 90DF-0529
File Not Found

I don't have that much of knowledge of the processes and OS of computers so please help.

When you open up task Manager , by right clicking on the task bar and choose Start Task Manager . On the Processes tab if you right click on the csrss and choose Properties the location should be C:\Windows\System32. Can you check that and see if that's the location of the file?

Whenever I press Open File Location it won't respond. Plus, I can find the file in C:\Windows\System32

Whenever I press Open File Location it won't respond.
When you go into Task Manager, and right click on the file, are you not able to click properties? No need to Open File Location, just select properties and see where the file is located.

Now it's working. Says the location is C:\Windows\System32 Seems like there's no trouble at all. Thanks.

But to be relieved, I'm starting a Full Scan right now.
