    Turning on my Windows Firewall makes my internet not work??


    It wasn't doing this before but now whenever i turn on firewall, my internet completely stops working.

    Sounds like it's blocking your ISP or server. What Anti-virus program is running?

    Managed to fix it by deleting a rule.

I've disabled it in control panel, and it turned on again. I went to services and disabled it, but on the next boot it's again on and set to automatic. I find that many services in win7 have a mind of their own and it doesn't matter what you set.
