If the antivirus not block this page ¿ Is it safe ?

A friend who knows nothing about computers mistakenly entered this page piclike
the look of that page is rare and the antivirus not blocked it, wonders if he can be free of virus. He's using Avast. And his AV has managed to block some pages sometimes(it works). My antivirus does not block it too(ESET).

In https://www.virustotal.com most antivirus does not detect anything wrong with the page.

There is nothing to worry about ?

I use WOT in addition to Malwarebytes and SAS.

    https://www.mywot.com/en/download

This site looks very iffy and I'd stay away from it.

Hello Mik and welcome to Seven Forums.

I'm not a security expert. It's my understanding that links within a website could contain malware. Avast is a reputable anti-virus program and VirusTotal is also a good program. Chances are your friend's computer is OK. But no anti-malware program is 100% effective 100% of the time. (If there was such a thing we would all be using it. :))

I ran another free scan using a scanner called Sucuri SiteCheck.

Sucuri SiteCheck - Free Website Malware Scanner

Not only does this program scan the website, but it also scans the links within the website and the scripts used (based on what Sucuri can detect.) It also came back clean.

Again, this is not a 100% guarantee that your friend's computer is without some kind of malware. But it looks like nothing is being detected.

He came to this page via a posting on Facebook. Just opened the page, he proceeded immediately to close it. Not clicked on anything :)

My ESET have blocked pages and other things that are classified as hazardous. I can enter the page, so good. But click something there is very risky. ¿ Not believe ?

Drive by downloads malware can infect your computer simply by visiting a website that is running malicious code so sometimes just quickly exiting a page may not save you. Of course the more you clock on a page that is suspect increases the risk of a multitude of zero day exploits, malware, virus etc.
