flash.exe signed by stepan rybin got through and I would like details

I'm usually good at determininng which updates are true (or needed) and which aren't but somehow this one fooled me: flash BUT I did stop it immediately as it was trying to install itself--the stop didn't work so I did a CTrl-Alt-delete etc. etc And also my antivirus kicked in as well. BUT on reboot I found 'flash.exe' and it is signed by stepan rybin. Anyhow I know where the file is so I can delete it. And as I am writing this I am also running Malwarebytes and my anti virus but I wanted to write here to get more details from you guys. For ex. I assume I should be looking at the registry as well. All info would be appreciated.

    PUP details

    Malware scan of flash.exe 2c89e76d5128ed52f2a95cb5794e98adf3233538 - herdProtect

If you like you can run a scan with UVK - Ultra Virus Killer - free version.

Then use "Scan and Create Log" - UVK Help: Scan and create log

Zip the log and upload it.

    In what folder is it?
By your description it seems to me that there is a virus trying to disguising itself as Flash Player (whose main executable is NOT called flash.exe).
