is cinemax plus 1.9c, a problem program

greetings and salutations to one and all !

bob the newbie here,
I have just put together a system for my brother consisting of i5,8gb,gigabyte ga-h81m-ds2v m/b, 120gb ssd, 2tb wd.

after a few problems loading win 7 pro (these new bios's are beyond me, truth to tell) then had a problem with adds popping up all over the place, eventually sorted out, but still have the above prog in programs that will not come out with add remove programs or Kaspersky internet security.
should I worry about it.

any help appreciated bob

Did you use a clean image to install the OS? I would follow this guide and be more mindful of what you install in the future. Remove "Ads by Cinemax Plus 1.9c" virus (Removal Guide)
