    AdwCleaner

    Hello
I just did a scan with Adw and it found a few things in Reg. The only thing I know about the Reg. is not to play around with it,so I ask if someone knows if I should let it clean these or just don't worry all is good ?

    Thanks

Since you are not having problem, I would not touch the registry. If it is not broken do not try to fix it.

adwcleaner sometimes flags registry items that are questionable to it, however, not harmful, but rather good, to you. I do not recognize any of the keys it flagged. Leave 'em be. Perhaps run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware [free version is fine] to see if it flags anything. Can you share with us the reason[s] for running adwcleaner?

In answer to doing things wrong in the registry then do what I do after a clean install and before tweaking of any sort is to back it up see
Registry - Backup and Restore this can be stored on any media beit the hard dive or a stick :)

Now for those who use Kaspersky the ADW Cleaner will send it into a rant but that can be dealt with by ignoring it or if the security settings are set to high then disable it until the ADW stuff is done.

Personally I have used it many times and never had any problems.

    Hi,
You don't say which security you have installed,
If you could post some additional information,
Post the browsers extensions and toolbars... you use :/

I agree adwcleaner usually only finds bad stuff.

    Hi,
    Open ie,
Use gear symbol on the top right and click on Manage add-ons,
On the bottom left column switch to Show all add-ons,
Top left column click on Toolbars and extensions,
Post a screen shot of them all,
    Cheers.

    Thanks,
Well allot of these extensions in Firefox are most likely the keys found by adwcleaner,
Extensions are a great way to pick up crap,
As you can see allot of them effect all browsers use them or not.
Remove or keep the findings it's up to you = wait for an issue to surface,
Which the issues may only effect ie's operation :/
    Cheers.
