am I missing something, but did the OP link to a site where he got a virus ? If this ain't a forum rule - it should be.

How am I suppose to tell posters what happened for help and warn other people not to visit? No one actually did answer this is tripod websites a virus haven? The link was partially disabled by the this forums web link filter for your information. Technically it was never confirmed that it was a virus.

Update to be on the safe side, I went back to the image that has Windows 7 and Lubuntu 14.10. I may reinstall Xubuntu 14.10 at a later time.

Please remember that the Moderators and Administrators will remove things that they deem a possible problem. I personally don't have a problem with such actions. I surly don't question their actions. They are the Boss.
That is one of their many jobs on this forum.

This is found at the bottom of the forum rules.

We also reserve the right to modify, close, remove, delete, or take any other action we deem necessary and appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way .
The Moderators and or Administrators do not have to give reasons for their action.
I'm guessing they don't have the time to argue the point.
I have seen whole treads disappear that I had several post in. Oh well. I just got on with my life.
