    windows 7 download security scan doesn't allow downloads


    I'm suddenly having a problem downloading simple stuff like pictures, pdf's, adobe updates, etc. I get the running security scan box at the bottom of an open window and it never stops running or allows the download. It's just recently started and all I've done is recent windows updates (I pick them, not Microsoft).

    Started working again and have no clue why. Security scan disappeared and no longer appears.
