From you log.

Quote:
WinDefend Service is not running. Checking service configuration:
Checking Start type: ATTENTION!=====> Unable to open WinDefend registry key. The service key does not exist
This is strange.

The service key does not exist

The key that does not exist should of been install when Windows 7 Ultimate was installed.

How long has Ultimate been installed and where did you get Ultimate from?

Have you activated Windows 7 Ultimate on this computer?

karthik421,

Please follow the "Here's How", provided by Brink's tutorial, todownload and merge the Registry file for the Windows Defender service:

Services - Restore Default Services in Windows 7

It restores the default Registry entries for the WinDefend service.

After doing so, please run the Farbar Service Scanner once again, and provide its new report.
