    MSE + Avast + Spywareblaster + MBAM

    2009 Toshiba, A135, 1.73 Ghz, 2G RAM.

MSE sees it before Avast and little window in lower right corner says threat deleted.

If I turn off MSE, the free Avast sees it then window in right lower corner says threat detected and deleted.

Ran a complete free Malwarebytes and free AVast scan and no infections found.

I did not have Spywareblaster installed when I did test.

I'm guessing that EICAR was difficult to design and that is why we don't see any other test viruses out there. Maybe there are others and I haven't heard about them yet.
