Whenever I tick on "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select:" and hit apply and okay then restart, when it turns back on its reset to "turn on dep for essential windows programs and services only" instead of what I applied.
What antivirus app are you using?
I know that it says to restart to apply the change, but what happens if you apply the change, close the System Properties applet and then reopen the System Properties applet without restarting the computer. Is it still set as desired?
Malwarebytes is not an Antivirus... it's 'antimalware', but not the same thing.
