How to remove "medlight.exe"

Google search is automatically changed by this "file:///C:/ProgramData/Medlight/ff.NT".

I removed manually by searching this file on start but it was re-installed.

Hi there,

Have you tried using an anti-virus software to remove it? I recommend either the free Kaspersky scanner and removal tool here:

Latest Versions | Virus Removal Tool | Kaspersky Lab

Or the free Malware Bytes Anti-Malware software here:

Hi, MarkP15 thanks for u'r reply.

Yes I've Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 but can't remove it. Using Kaspersky it detects but can't remove.

Can I install Malware Bytes Anti-Malware software with Kaspersky?

If it is possible i'll try using Malware Bytes.

Thanks.

Hi John,

You can use Malware Bytes at the same time but you'll have to disable Kaspersky to use it.

Also try the link I gave, maybe your existing installation of Endpoint is compromised, or for some reason is unable to remove it. Can you screenshot what it says when you try to remove it please?

Kind Regards,

Mark
