Using the Emergency Kit tutorial

I have just posted in that tutorial a disturbing article for anyone using Linux as per the tutorial
Emergency Kit - save your files from a dead OS and indeed anyone using Linux in any other form.

For those unfamiliar with the tutorial see this if you are using Linux as say a dual boot see this Why the Linux Mint hack is an indicator of a larger problem - TechRepublic

Whatever you download these days you should check. If it is under 128MB, then Virus Total is the best tool.

Yep I agree mate and I am suspicious of anything these days whatever size it is.
