    MSE has finally woke up.

For the last 2 days MSE has not been finding any new updates. That should not be. Their is no way the bad guys took 2 days off.
    It was stuck on 1.221.14.0

I just starting working again and finds the new update quickly. (1.221.293.0)

I would suggest those that have MSE on auto update do a manual check to get caught up on the new updates.

It seem like Windows 7 Updates also Searches quicker than it has been doing for the last few months.

Hopefully Microsoft has been fixing things.

Yes Jack had the same problem setting up MSE for friends too the updates seem to get half way then fall into some sort of black hole never to be seen again and it has been going on for soem time outhere.

    Hi,
Not sure why anyone would still be using MSE seeing the update system is so flaky for the past year.
Seems I was jumping back and forth between updating through MSE and windows updates most of the time not knowing which one would successfully install the updates.

MSE at times would insist on running a 6 hour full scan before it would update which is unacceptable scanning time for me.

I finally woke up and dumped it for Panda free and turned off windows defender too it is no better than MSE.

I had this update problem for just a couple of days. Other than that I have had no problems with MSE. Well except slow Searching when the Free W-10 came out.
