    McAfee enterprise Notifications area

    Hi,

This is just a tiny little problem, but material for me.
In the notification area of my taskbar (which is not fully displayed because I unchecked the always show all radio button) I don't see McAfee, once I open the settings field I do set McAfee to always show icon and notification, every time I restart (or if the explorer) crashes the icon disappears... (it also happens with Dell's DCP).

My personal advice: uninstall McAfee and install Microsoft Security Essentials.

Go to search by start button. Search for Mcafee. When you see it right click, then pin to "your choice".

Okay, forget about McAfee, the Dell internet connection manager disappears from the taskbar notification area upon every restart of the explorer...

Taskbar notification area is where the clock is... what's the point of pining the application to the start menu or taskbar?

You're not alone, it is the same on my system. Quite annoying b/c the McAfee Shield turns red to notify you of on-access activities that are being blocked. Microsoft Security Essentials is not as strong as VSE, sorry to say.
