Am I doing a virus scan on E: or not?

.
I have Win 7 Home Premium.

All my data is on my E: partition. This includes My Documents, My Music, My Pictures, and My Videos, which were moved to E: using Windows tools.

So my C:\Users\<username> folder points to E:\Users\<username>

Question: If I do a virus scan on my C: drive, am I also scanning my E: drive?

Hi Guys, I'm as computer literate as a fly, so please don't laugh. I have just upgraded Microsoft Sec. Essentials, when it asked me on what percentage I would like the CPU to run during a scan. I set it to 10%, as I am not on the Pc during a scan! My thinking is that the anti-virus program can now...
