Amazing, shall try it on the new install.

    Thanks.:)

BTW, how is the detection rate of Panda vs. other Free AV?

    EDIT:

Is this screenshot of W7 or with W10?

    Hi,
I don't use win-10 although I do have 1 copy on my asus so all would be win-7 it rules :)

detection rate well I can safely say it's a lot better than MSE but I have no idea on how well it compares with other freebies ?
I believe it's less bloated than some like Avast which seems it has gone flat out crazy with it's added stuff.

Keeping in mind I also have mbam pro/ premium on all my machines too :)

FYI: It gets rated 5.5 out of 6 here. 6 is maximum score:

    Test Panda Security Free Antivirus 16.1 for Windows 7 (163186) | AV-TEST

    Comparison: Test antivirus software for Windows 7 - August 2016 | AV-TEST

However if we look at recent ransomware tests it doesn't do quite as well:

    Which AV?-eng_2016_ransomware-page-13.jpg

That page is taken from the report available here:

    h**ps://avlab.pl/sites/default/files/68files/ENG_2016_ransomware.pdf

These tests are meaningless really as effectiveness depends upon what other measures the user has taken to plug the gaps in defences that are left by any AV.
