I have a secutity question about the "Include in Library" function. I have 2-1 tearbite hard drives in my desktop . The OP is on C drive , and the second drive is in 2 partitions E and F . I save all my important stuff on E and back up E on F. If I use the Library function and shotcut a file from E to startup on C wouldn't it creat a way for a hacker or a viruse to get into E drive? I hope I explained this right. Thank You funnnyfarm

Unless someone announces a security issue I doubt it's a hazard. You libraries are just an alternate method of viewing files as a collection, regardless of where they might actually be archived.

The only security issue I can see is if you allow someone access to your machine(s) because you use insecure wifi protection or are using hot spots whilst you have full shares and open permissions at the root level of any drives.
