    Need help to unblock port in Windows 7 Firewall


    i have problem unblock port from win7 firewall. Resulting slow downloading.

    any idea?

    Hi and welcome

    Its not a blocked port. if it were you would not be able to download at all. more likely it is a connectivity issue. You are porbably using homegroup for networking and IPv6. It sometumes causes random slowdowns, downloads, and drops.

    what are you trying to download and from wher? what speed is the downaload, and what speed are you supposed to get?

    What port did you "unblock" and what other settings have you changed?

    im dling movie, frm isohunt. and the speed im getting is 6-7kB/s. i did static ip and forward the port. but still my utorrent dl in a so slow speed. the port i forward is 59578.

    anyidea?

    Obviously the torrent you are downloading from is not fast or doesn't have a lot of seeders. Hence the slow speed of the download.
