    I think you got it all mixed up.
    Norton Removal Tool should uninstall it completely.
    You don't have to use anything else first.
    Even then, you only need to use that 'one' remover when the uninstall doesn't work properly. With NIS 2010 it uninstalled perfectly fine for me. Just don't uninstall with firefox open, doesn't remove the addons properly. :|

    Really,. I never thought about that,. you may be right

    So the Norton removal tool takes it out of Programs and Features also.
