No one said it was good because it was from Microsoft, I'm saying its good because it was developed that way.
    ...by Microsoft.
I don't care who it was developed by, as long as it works. It does, its free, and its light-weight.

Care to continue this or have I made myself clear enough?
    2nd that as well.

Couldn't care if it was made by Barrack Obama or James May, it's a good AV in my head, that's that.

If James May made an AV it'd force us to read the ridiculously long EULA before letting you install (how it'd do that is another question)!!

I've tried many Anti-Virus programs thanks. Kaspersky, Panda, Avira, Norton, McAfee, AVG, Avast (those voices scares me), etc. I found MSE to be the best out of all of them.

In my case I use the word best to describe my opinion, not fact.

Haven't had any infection since I switched. Well there was one but I didn't have any AV at the time (don't ask).
