    Hi Jacee,

    1. Can this Microsoft Mal-software Removal Tool be run when Norton Internet Security 2010 (virus&malware, etc) is running in the background?

    2. Do recommend using this Microsoft Removal Tool if I already have Norton 2010 installed and running continually? Is the Microsoft Removal a better tool than Norton?

    Thanks!

To be honest with you, I've never used it, so I can't vouch for it

    Hello Andy,

You can also read more about it in the tutorial below. It's mostly for after you get infected. I have never had it do anything noticeable for me, but I'm sure that it serves it's purpose if ever needed though.

    Hope this helps,

I use it...and it actually comes in handy on my uncle's old XP machine (cleaning viruses off that buggy old OS). I have Win7 with MSE, so I don't have any viruses to test it on...
