Avira 9 is x64 native?

Hello ppl,

I have a question, especially for users that is using Avira on Seven x64. Is the newest version of Avira 64-bit native? In Start64 says that are, and there a screen of files and dll's apparently x64:

Last time that i used the Avira was the version 8 with Vista x64, now i use Windows XP and i'm going to Windows 7 x64. Btw, someone can confirm this to me? If the processes of Avira on taskbar manager show *32 in the right side, it's not 64-bits.

Cannot update Avira
This actually started some months ago on both my PC's at pretty much the same time. I use Avira as AV. For some reason though it just wouldn't update anymore. Normal the updater gets to about 250kb, waits half a minute then does another 250kb, waits half a minute... etc. Somewhere between 1 and...

Avira Sufficient?
I was running Avast Free as antivirus until I discovered that it was conflicting with CDBurnerXP. I installed Avira Free in its place, but on installation Avira insisted I turn off Windows Defender. On the face of it, it would appear that I do not now have a firewall installed (other than the...

Avira compatible with 7?
The title of the thread says/asks it all really.... Is there not a Win 7 compatible version of Avira? I downloaded and installed from CNET as per my usual choice and it does appear to install but is then not visible anywhere within the drive and gave some compatibility message at the end of...
