UAC Inconsistencies

Not sure if this is the proper place to post this question.

I installed Adobe Acrobat Professional 6.0 on Windows 7 (not in the VM). It's not supposed to be compatible but it works fine except for the PDF writer function. Of course because it is not certified, every time I open the program I get the UAC warning. But here is the strange thing. I added my wife as another user. If I open the program when logged in as her, I get no warning. Both of our UAC settings are identical as are our administrative rights. What's up??

Did you copy the shortcut of the program to her account or did you install the app under her account?

I went to "All Programs", found the program, right clicked and sent a shortcut to the desktop - the same procedure I did for me as user.

So no, I did not re-install the program for her.

Still looking for an answer.

Program opens without UAC alert for all users except the one that installed it.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling as Administrator. Now I get no UAC message as Administrator and the other two users are also ok as long as they are set up as standard users.

I run 2 separate PCs right now- a Gateway with Windows 7 x64 and a Dell with Windows XP x86. This isn't a malware issue(both PCs are currently clean- the XP should be, it's a recent install with little activity, I'd be surprised if it's infected)), just a curiosity as to why he same program on...
