Can MSE co-exist with another Virus product?

Interested in MSE.

Question - Can MSE run while other products run? i.e. Norton Antivirus and Superantispyware.

or do you have to remove them before installing MSE.

why would you want to? MSE should be enough for anti virus. Having more than one could cause conflicts and use up resources unnecessarily.

Thought I would run MSE with other programs to test it out first. Then I would remove the others.

If your question is if you can have two installed at the same time the answer is, yes. There are some exceptions, however.

If your question is should I, the answer is an outstanding no.

There are a few instances, of not even being able to download a second A/V, until one is removed, due to conflicts.

hi !

MSE & Avira-free works together.

also, MSE warns you during installation if it detects another Antivirus-program that cannot be used together with MSE.

but itīs NOT recommended to have 2 Antivirus-programs running....

SuperAntiSpyware or MalwareByte's Anti-malware will run with MSE.

a-squared (a2) antimalware works together with antivirus-programs, fx. MSE.
